This is adorable and all and made my heart get all dokidoki, but there is just one thing i cannot bring myself to unsee with RHTO art.
With the way the costumes/uniforms are drawn, they look like robots. Robots or cyborgs with only the heads covered in synthetic human flesh to give the artificial appearance of being human. But really with only mid-neck up appearing to be a human head and face on some kind of robotic body, it just freaks my shit.
I guess the costumes are drawn to be super detailed?? to look more like thick armor or something, but to me the neck area and gauntlets especially look more like they’re actually mechanical parts of a cybernetic humanoid machine. Like a T1000 or something. It doesn’t look organic, it looks cold and too ‘futuristic space age’… idk its probably just me, but i cant unsee it.
