headcanon alert Tonraq is totally the proud dad and would roughhouse and encourage Korra to be tough and strong and is probably mostly to blame for her fight-before-thought attitude. Also idk if he’s even a bender but i like the idea of him mostly relying on ice to enhance physical attacks in a sort of boxing style.
i don’t know if this has been done yet..But can we just appreciate how MAD Mako gets? I mean, his face get’s all scrunched up… sadly, it’s a littleALOTsexy…HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY BLOOD.

Amon, Korra, Bending, and why Aang wasn’t trying to warn her about Tarrlock the whole time

You’re messing things up, Korra. the comic relief was never supposed to get the girl.
So a friend of mine mentioned to me the theory she and her gf came up with for how the rest of Legend of Korra will play out, including the inclusion of Tahno as ‘part of the gang’. After hearing it i totally agreed and thought it was a brilliant and such a cool theory!
Basically, the theory is that Amon will succeed in taking Korra’s bending abilities away. She’ll lose the ability to bend all the elements, but, since the theory out there is that Amon mearly blocks your chi and prevents your mind from being at rest enough to bend, she will figure this out and get her bending back.
However! In order to get her bending back, she’ll need to relearn it all from the start. She’ll have nothing but Air bending to rely on, as she hadn’t mastered it at the time she was de-bended, so with that, she goes off to start all over again. She has an instructor for each element, Bolin to teach earth bending (maybe Lin to teach a little metal bending to them both), Mako to teach fire bending (a time period that could focus on their romance barf), and as for relearning waterbending…!
Korra will head back to the Southern Water tribe, with Tahno, who also needs to now relearn water bending! But the person who will teach them wont be Katara, but Katara’s daughter, a waterbender who has yet to make her appearance (this will give a reason for her to appear). I think during this time Tahno might get more into touch with the spiritual side of waterbending and what it means to be a waterbender, something he seriously lacks as a probender champ that cheated his way to the top.
So what do we think??? interesting, no?
